I'm not breaking new ground here, but still pretty happy with this flyer. Charles Schultze said "Never go with your first idea, it's usually your laziest and worst." My first idea was a bloke being chopped clean in half by a grinning axe weilding maniac. Probably been done to death. Second idea was something to do with fox hunting as that's topical at the moment. I think this idea of the Mad Magazine type grinning idiot being mashed up with tiny axes came to me in the shower. Giggled to myself all night while drawing. Just imagine your skin siding off like butter. Has anyone ever made a butter-axe? A tiny axe to cut up butter for toast.
I might quit art and make butter-axes.
